Through partnerships with City DPW, private landscapers, dedicated volunteers, and local artists, we are working to ensure the streets of downtown are vibrant, blooming, garbage-free, and inviting for residents and visitors alike.
Beautifying Our Streets
By creating a one-stop-shop for those interested in investing in our downtown, we are working to create a searchable inventory of available commercial spaces and bring together a network of professionals to ease the burdens of opening a new business in our community.
Filling Vacant Storefronts
Poughkeepsie is best discovered with your feet on the ground. We’re working to bring back large scale events that draw thousands of visitors to our city so they can discover the shops, restaurants, and businesses that make our downtown unique and worth discovering again and again.
Bringing People Together
So many great things are happening in Downtown Poughkeepsie. We’re working with renowned storytellers to get the message out in creative ways, while charting the course for what’s to come in the next three years, five years, ten years, and beyond.
